Cathy & Jason are playing in Seattle on Saturday, June 29th, 2:00pm PDT! They bring their original songs, clever covers, and rich harmonies to you in a warm, friendly community space for an acoustic concert.

Random Fractions is the Chicago-area duo of Cathy McManamon and Jason Neerenberg. They play acoustic guitar, electric bass, and vocals, and their style has been described as "neo-pagan folk rock" but can really include anything from their repertoire of original songs to covers of artists they love. The band has received a Pegasus Award for excellence in performance, and Cathy has been nominated for her songwriting numerous times. They've played in bars, basements, loving rooms, at sci-fi conventions, and outdoor festivals like Chicago Pagan Pride. A Random Fractions performance is a musical journey that will take you there, back again, and to magical spaces between. They'll also be playing songs from their soon-to-be-released album, "Escapement".
Random Fractions will have merchandise (CDs) available for you to acquire, including two band CDs, a number of Cathy's solo CDs (including some instrumental albums), and the double album Rune Songs project.
