Concert: Fractured Landscapes at the Norton Museum of Art
Schedule
Sun Feb 15 2026 at 03:00 pm to 04:30 pm
UTC-05:00Location
Norton Museum of Art | West Palm Beach, FL
"Fractured Landscapes" will explore memory, color, and sound through solo violin, electronics, and violin-piano duos. The program is inspired by the works on view in the special exhibitions "Anastasia Samoylova: Atlantic Coast" and "Shara Hughes: Inside Outside."
The concert will feature violinist Ilana Zaks with pianist Valeria Polunina, as well as Brannon Warn-Johnston, a teenage composer and musician whose work “A Year with Cancer” will be performed. Including works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Scott Joplin, and Paul Schoenfeld, the recital reimagines how music can reflect painterly abstraction, layered memory, and architectural disorientation.
