When launching the neighborhood organics collection + composting program with Summit Waste and Recycling in late December 2021, a "giveback" perk was provided to participants of the program. Now its that time of year again for compost customers and their gardens to (quite literally) reap the benefits of organics recycling with Summit!
Bring a shovel + means for transporting your compost home, and meet us at the Applewood Community of Christ parking lot on Saturday, May 4th for our annual Compost Giveback event! Each compost customer is eligible to take home up to 30 gallons of compost.
New customers who sign-up for organics recycling services before the event date are eligible to participate!
