Compassion for ourselves and the world

During the day we will connect with our natural gentleness and care, deepening our hearts capacity to hold and transform our experience. Going home you will feel more peace and ease. The grounds and meditation space with the shared community practice support a deepen of compassion.
Over our time together we will practice deepening compassion for ourselves and widening that to include all living beings. We will take gentle steps on the earth, bring genuine care to our whole being and widen that care to include Mother Earth and all living beings. The day is based on the teachings and practices of Zen teacher Thich Nhat Hanh and his communitty, Plum Village. Please aim to arrive for 10:20. Bring shoes and clothes suitable for walking outdoors, a blanket for deep relaxation and medi cushions if you like to sit on floor. Chairs are available.

We have lunch at 1:30 to 2:30, some people head home at that time and some stay. We invite you to bring your own vegan lunch. We provide tea and coffee.
