What:
We’re inviting community members to knit or crochet 4x4-inch squares, which will be stitched together to cover a public sculpture in Peoria. This creative project is aimed at uniting artists and community members to celebrate fiber arts.
Who:
Everyone is welcome! Whether you’re experienced in fiber arts or have never picked up a needle before, we’ve got you covered with easy tutorials to get you started.
When:
Kickoff Date: January 8
Square Submission Deadline: February 22
Installation: The week following February 22
Where:
Visit Peoria Art Guild at 203 Harrison Street during open hours to get your free yarn and needles, or feel free to use your own supplies if you’d prefer.
