Community Water Gun Wars

Alright water warriors the date is locked in! Sunday June 14th 1pm-3pm or until the water runs out!
Water gun wars will take place at the Cumberland park and flying disc course/ trails. A day of summer fun with the whole community! Bring your squirt guns, water guns and super soakers and be prepared to soak or get soaked! I encourage everyone to really get into it. If you have green or camo than wear it, paint your faces or whatever you need to do to hide from the other water warriors! This is fun for the whole family no matter your age. Team up with your family and hunt down your neighbors!
As we don’t have a water supply I’m going to ask that everyone that comes is to bring some water. You can bring it in a cooler, gallons, tots or however you can get it there. The games can only last as long as we have water.
JUST A FEW CURTESY RULES:
1- ABSOLUTELY NO WATER BALLONS!!
2- ALL WATER GUNS MUST BE COLORFUL. ( nothing painted black
3- DON’T SPRAY ANYONE IN THE FACE!!
4- HIGH POWERED SUPER SOAKERS ARE PROHIBITED AT CLOSE RANGE (you know the ones that actually hurt)
5- YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOURSELF AND YOUR CHILDREN! ( I take absolutely no responsibility for anyone else)
6- RESERVE THE PLAYGROUND AREA FOR THE LITTLE LITTLES.
7- RESPECT THE PARK AND CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF AND YOUR FAMILY
8- THIS IS A PUBLIC PARK SO IF SOMEONE DOESN’T HAVE A SQUIRT GUN IN THEIR HANDS THAN PLEASE DON’T SPRAY THEM!
9- HAVE FUN AND DON’T BE A “KAREN”
If anyone knows of any food trucks, drink trucks, etc that would like to set up that would be great.
I am new to Colorado so I don’t know all the ins and the outs yet. If anyone knows of this being an issue please let me know ahead of time. I have made several post prior to ask everyone but just in case.
Hopefully we will have nice warm weather so make sure you bring something to stay hydrated!
I don’t know all the neighborhoods around us so please feel free to share with surrounding communities. The more the better.
I hope that we make this a safe and fun day!
