Fix Things * Learn Skills * Prevent Waste
The third annual Community Repair Fair will be held Saturday, August 1, in the Gladys Valley Marine Studies Building at Hatfield Marine Science Center!
Led by Oregon Sea Grant (ORSG) and the Hatfield Innovation Lab (iLab), this free community event is open to the public and will be powered largely by local volunteers.
Community members are encouraged to bring a broken household item to the Repair Fair, and a local volunteer will work with them to determine whether the item can be repaired.
Explore the whole event! Watch repair demonstrations, participate in hands-on upcycling activities, and talk to community members and organizations who will share waste prevention strategies at tables throughout the building.
