Oregon’s coastal rainforests are home to stunning trees, lush vegetation and streams, unique fish and wildlife, and a wide variety of hiking trails. In this talk, Chandra LeGue, Senior Conservation Advocate with Oregon Wild, will talk about the important values these forests provide, conservation needs and efforts in the Siuslaw National Forest, and recommended areas to explore some of their highlights in the central coast and Coast Range.
🌲 About the speaker:
Chandra LeGue is Senior Conservation Advocate with Oregon Wild, where she has been focused on public lands and forest advocacy, and community engagement and education for the past 22 years. She is also active with the Willamette Valley chapter of the Great Old Broads for Wilderness, and she is the author of "Oregon's Ancient Forests: A hiking guide".
