Run your long run with us and pick up some trash along the way! What is plogging? Plogging is a term that means picking up litter during your run (or walk). Let's get our long run in and serve our community by picking up trash and litter along the trail during our run!
Grab a green bag for recyclables and a clear bag for trash and head out on your run. We will have a map with different routes based on how far you want to go. Drop your bags at an intersection, label it, send us a pin with the location, and continue on filling your next bag. After the plog, we'll weigh the bags and we have prizes and awards to give away. Lunch and beverages will be provided after the run.
Prizes awarded:
-Most trash collected (by weight)
-Most unique pieces of trash found
-Most recyclables collected (by weight)
-Run Club/Organizations with the most participants
-And more!
Lunch and beverages provided after the run!
If you have gloves, please bring them, if you don’t we will provide them to you.
