The ride will start at the American Legion Post 199 in Edwardsville Il and travel through multiple towns ending at The Haven in Marion IL. We are riding to support The Haven which is a day lodge facility located in Carbondale Illinois. The property is used for relaxation and rehabilitation of veterans and their families since the late 1040’s. It is the pride and joy of The Illinois American Legion’s 5th Division. The Haven is one of the many programs offered through the Veterans Administration Marion Healthcare System. The system serves the health needs of more than 43.000 Veterans living in 27 counties in southern Illinois, 8 counties in southwestern Indiana, and 17 counties in northwestern Kentucky. It is operated by the American Legion 5th Division, the American Legion Auxiliary and the Sons of the American Legion.
Come learn more at an upcoming Riders Meeting, or join us the day of the event at the Edwardsville American Legion Post. To participate it is $25 per person paid at the start or when you join us at any stop along the way.
