Community Planting- Ōpanuku streamside, Henderson Valley
Every native tree planted will help to stabilise the stream banks, soak up excess rainwater and provide a thriving habitat for native wildlife.
Gumboots or closed toe shoes are essential.
We will provide gloves and spades.
Kids welcome, but they must be supervised by an adult.
Stay for afternoon tea together after we have finished planting.
Supported by the enviroteam at MPHS Community Trust and thanks to funding from Te Kawerau ā Maki and Auckland Council Healthy waters.
