In partnership with the Rhode Island Black Film Festival and the MAMA JOE PROJECT, My Mama Joe: Hope & Help is a one-hour documentary follows a family’s journey as they care for their matriarch living with Alzheimer’s dementia. Produced by educator and creative Herb Caldwell/ My Mama Joe: Hope & Help brings awareness of the growing challenges of family caregiving and dementia. It weaves together personal storytelling with best-practice insights from leading experts in the field, including representatives from the Alzheimer’s Association,
