Community Day: Women’s Safety, Health, and Empowerment

Join us for an action-packed Community Day focused on safety, health, and connecting with your local community!

Women’s Safety Workshop – 11:00 am to 1:00 pm
In partnership with the Met Police, this interactive workshop provides a safe space to discuss women’s safety, share concerns, and learn practical tips on understanding risks and reporting incidents. Open discussions and expert guidance will help empower women in our community.

Vital 5 Health Screenings – 10:30 am to 2:30 pm
Take advantage of free health checks including BMI and blood pressure screenings, with healthcare professionals on-site to offer advice and answer questions about your health.

Focus Group for Afro-Caribbean Women – 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm
Help shape sexual health services in Southwark by joining a focus group with the Southwark Council Public Health team. Your input will directly influence local health initiatives.

Additional Highlights:

• Light lunch provided, plus tea and coffee
• Meet members of our community and find out about our courses
• Opportunities to network and connect with local support
