About this Event
Public health and public safety are intimately intertwined. But how does one influence the other? Join us for an in-depth discussion with experts, frontline workers, and government officials on the public health determinants of public safety. Learn how the city, county, and state are working together to address our public health crises in the short, medium and long term in downtown Seattle and beyond. And, how we as citizens can best advocate for and support solutions that work for all.
Speakers:
Dr. Amy Smith Barden, Chief of C.A.R.E. Department (Community Assisted Response and Engagement Team).
Brad Finegood, Strategic Advisor King County Department of Public Health
Dan Malone, Executive Director, Downtown Emergency Service Center
*Thank you to our hosts: Christ Our Hope (COH) Civic Association. Join us at 5:30 pm for a mix and mingle / info-volunteer fair.
