Business and Breaking Barriers
Sobiya is more than a leadership coach and keynote speaker
—she's a trailblazer who has broken barriers as the first hijab-
wearing, Muslim black belt kickboxer to represent England at
the European level. Her journey embodies resilience and
leadership, which have shaped her unique approach to
coaching.
Sobiya empowers individuals to thrive in all aspects of their
lives and has collaborated with global clients in various
industries, including film, banking, and healthcare. She has
brought her message of confidence, resilience, inclusion, and
belonging to diverse audiences worldwide.
As a mother, wife, entrepreneur, and soon-to-be author,
Sobiya is passionate about leaving a meaningful legacy and
creating positive change in the world.
Anita Pickersgill FCICM started running these events as a way of paying it back and also paying it forward she is passionate about helping small, ambitious growing businesses thrive. Winner of the Jenny Oldfield Supporting Women in Credit Award in 2022 she really is a commercial debt collector with a heart, helping promote the understanding of what credit management means for smaller businesses and why it iso important when it comes to late payment and debt collection.
Anita has been asked so many times over the years how she became a debt collector that she decided to write a book which is due to come out in the summer.
This meeting is a place where you can come along without your corporate mask, it is ok to have a bad hair day, feel yuk day, need someone to lift you up or share some frustrations with day.
Fusing taking care of yourself with taking care of business makes perfect sense to us.
Have a problem but cannot quite put your figure on it, lost your mojo or direction a bit , juggling the children and your partner plus your own business can be empowering, exhausting and also quite scary.
Join us to talk about what you do, what you want to do, grow your network, you are one person working in your business, whilst at the same time living your none work life.
We grow organically, our ladies want to help other ladies grow thier business and themselves, sharing knowledge and skills.
Every attendee will receive a gratitude bag as we know your time is precious and by giving us your time you are helping us build something special
