About this Event

Help us compost on a rooftop farm in Long Island City! We will be processing yard waste, turning piles, sifiting finished compost and bagging. Come enjoy the grand view from up above! :)

Plan Ahead: Please wear closed toe shoes and clothing you are comfortable getting dirty in! Meet us at the entrance to the building and we will bring you up to the roof.

Directions: Sky Farm LIC is located at 37-18 Northern Boulevard, Queens, New York, zipcode 11101. Accessible by the M and R trains and Q39, Q63, and Q101 buses.

Thank you to New York City Council for funding Community Composting!
