Start the year by doing something hard, intentional, and symbolic!Join us on New Year’s Day at Sunset in Guntersville for a community cold plunge—a powerful way to mark a fresh start, reset your nervous system, and step into the year with clarity and courage!
📍 Where: Sunset at the beach, Guntersville
🕙 Time: Meet at 10:00 AM
We’ll begin with a brisk walk (or jog, if you prefer) to get warm, grounded, and connected—then we’ll head into the water together.
This event is open to everyone—NOT JUST WOMEN. Bring your spouse, friends, workout partners, or anyone who wants to start the year with purpose.
This practice is inspired by the concept of Misogi—an ancient ritual of cold-water immersion used to reset the mind, strengthen resilience, and create a clear psychological “before and after.” Modern science now backs what ancient cultures knew intuitively: brief cold exposure can support mental clarity, stress resilience, mood, and metabolic health when done intentionally and safely.
This isn’t about toughness for toughness’ sake.
It’s about choosing discomfort on your terms, stepping into the year awake, and reminding your nervous system that you are capable of hard things.
