CCD is excited to announce an upcoming community-based event: a collaborative Community Clean-Up and Can Drive Day!The event will be held on Saturday, November 16th from 10 AM to 12 PM at Battery Park. We will be meeting at the gravel lot located off Route 9, south of Dobbinsville when leaving town.
This initiative will be a collaborative effort alongside Phoenix Family Resources, Old New Castle Litter Crew, New Castle City Police Department, and Historic New Castle Hundred Lions Club.
Together, we’ll work to clean up the shoreline of Battery Park and nearby areas along Route 9 (with a police escort) while collecting nonperishable food items for a local food pantry.
