It's almost time to deck the halls of Downtown Ottawa!
The Ottawa Downtown Association invites all of our Community Christmas Tree sponsors to join us for our annual Community Christmas Tree Decorating Day on Saturday, November 14, at 10:00 AM!
We're excited to see downtown come alive with holiday cheer as our sponsors transform their trees into festive displays for the entire community to enjoy.
More Trees, More Holiday Cheer!
Thanks to the incredible response to this year's program, we're spreading the holiday magic even farther throughout downtown! In addition to our traditional tree locations, some trees will be placed in Jordan Block this year. This is where Santa's Hut will be located, as well as a pop-up Christmas Tree Farm, and the City of Ottawa's Art Committee Community Christmas Tree.
Once all trees have been installed and locations finalized, we'll email a placement map so you know exactly where to find your tree.
A Few Important Reminders:
-Decorating Day: Saturday, November 14, at 10:00 AM
-Rain Date: Saturday, November 21
-Decorating Deadline: All trees must be fully decorated before Friday, November 27, in time for the holiday season kickoff.
-As a reminder, we provide the lights and a sign indicating your business, organization, or family name. The rest is up to you!
-End-of-Season Removal: Sponsors are responsible for removing their own decorations at the conclusion of the holiday season.
We encourage you to gather your family, friends, coworkers, or organization members and make a festive morning of it!
New This Year! Vote For Your Favorite Tree!
Voting is just $1 per vote, with 100% of proceeds benefiting the Community Food Basket. Simply scan the QR code on each tree's signage to cast your vote and support a great cause!
Thank you for helping us make Downtown Ottawa a little brighter this holiday season. Your creativity, generosity, and community spirit are what make this tradition so special, and we can't wait to see what you come up with this year!
See you November 14!
