Community Care Day: A Mental Health Reset
About this Event
Community Care Day is back. After our first Community Care Day in May, participants shared powerful reflections:
“There are like-minded folks around and slowing down restores me.”
“I am a human being, not a human doing.”
“Healing is a communal practice.”
“I need to practice what I preach.”
These reminders are why we are gathering again.
Join us on Saturday, August 29 for another Community Care Day: Mental Health Reset Pop-Up at the Konscious Community Center. This experience is designed to help our community pause, receive care, and reconnect with the body, mind, and spirit.
This time, there will be no scheduled classes. Instead, we are creating a flow of restorative wellness experiences where you can drop in, sign up for available offerings, and receive what feels supportive.
What to Expect
Throughout the day, participants will have access to healing-centered experiences including:
Massage Therapy
Support your body in releasing tension, stress, and stored pressure.
Reiki + Energy Healing
Receive gentle energy work to support grounding, balance, and emotional restoration.
PEMF Body Reset Mats
Experience pulsed electromagnetic energy field technology designed to support deep rest, relaxation, circulation, and nervous system regulation.
BrainTap Headset Meditation
Use guided audio and light-based meditation technology to support mental clarity, relaxation, and a deeper reset.
Mindful Arts + Crafts for Young People
Creative activities for youth to slow down, express themselves, and engage in mindful making.
+ More Restorative Experiences
Who This Is For
This event is open to adults, young adults, families, and community members who are looking for a space to rest, reset, and receive care.
Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, curious about holistic wellness, carrying stress in your body, or simply wanting to be in community, you are welcome here.
No experience is needed.
How It Works
Community Care Day is a drop-in experience.
When you arrive, you’ll check in, learn what offerings are available, and sign up for experiences as space allows. Some offerings may be limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please arrive with patience, openness, and care for yourself and others.
Cost
This event is open donation.
Donations are deeply appreciated and help us continue making wellness experiences accessible to the community, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds.
