At Anima House, we believe the bridge between fitness, mindfulness, and mental wellness is more than a trend—it’s a lifestyle. Our Community classes are an important part of showcasing that. These sessions are designed to strengthen your body awareness, improve alignment, and help you move with intention on and off the mat (and at the barre).

These Community Barre classes will be led by recent graduates of our Barre Teacher Training, offering them a supportive space to continue their development and growth as instructors.

How it works:
We want to ensure that everyone can attend these classes, and cost should not be a barrier to experiencing the goodness of barre. These are open-level classes: welcoming all shapes, sizes, ages, and abilities. Expect a blend of stability, strength, and mindful movement. Variations and props will be offered to make the class accessible for all levels of experience. Prepare to be challenged physically and mentally while nurturing a deeper connection to your body in a space free of judgment as a community. Mats and props will be provided.

Type of Barre:
Your instructor will guide you through a dynamic and uplifting barre sequence designed to enhance control, strength, and endurance. Through a combination of small, precise movements and larger, flow-based sequences, you’ll be invited to step out of your head and into your body cultivating strength, grace, and empowerment from the inside out. Each class is thoughtfully crafted to invigorate you physically and support your mental and emotional well-being.
