Join us for Communing with the Living World, a forest therapy walk designed to support calm, presence, and a deeper sense of connection with the natural world.
Forest therapy is a guided, nature-based experience that invites participants to engage their senses and spend time outdoors at an unhurried, reflective pace. It is inspired by the Japanese practice of shinrin-yoku, or forest bathing. Research shows this mindful practice can reduce stress, lift mood, and support overall wellbeing.
During this two-hour experience, a trained forest therapy guide will offer a series of gentle invitations that encourage you to step out of busy thinking and notice the living world around you—through sight, smell, taste, sound, touch, and movement.
This is not a hike or a fitness activity. The walk unfolds slowly, with time to pause, rest, and simply be in relationship with the landscape. Tea is offered to close the walk.
