Get ready to drop anchor and dance! Commotion on the Ocean is back, and we’re bringing the ultimate floating concert to the shores of Gambier Island.
This year, the incomparable Bobby Bruce takes to the deck of Andy Harper's Sea Shadow as himself! He’s curated a high-energy, "splashy" summer setlist featuring sun-drenched classics, party anthems, and—of course—those essential Nearly Neil faves that sound best over the water.

Join the armada at any of our three stops:
🕒 3:30 PM | WEST BAY
🕒 5:00 PM | GAMBIER HARBOUR
🕒 6:30 PM | NEW BRIGHTON
🖤 SUPPORTING OUR COMMUNITY
This event is a fundraiser for the Gambier Community Centre Society. We operate on a "Honour System" ticket model—your generous donations keep our community centre thriving and help us bring well-needed care and attention to our community members and the hall.
How to Give: Look for the donation buckets on the support boats or visit us at the docks!
Online Donations: An online link will be available soon!
⛵ HOW TO ATTEND
Whether you’re on a yacht, a powerboat, a sailboat, a paddleboard, or just lounging on the beach, everyone is welcome!
Boaters: Please practice safe anchoring and be mindful of swimmers.
Landlubbers: Head to the public beaches (and docks where possible) at our three stops for the best view!
