Are you an early-stage business in Leicester and Leicestershire looking to commercialise your innovative idea? And want to understand the various finance options that will help you to do this?
Join the British Business Bank and partners from the VentureVersity programme to hear about how this programme has helped academics from the University of Leicester, De Montfort University and Loughborough University reach out to the local business community to successfully commercialise their innovative ideas.

The VentureVersity programme is a newly funded collaboration (by UKRI, Research England’s Connecting Capabilities Fund) between the University of Leicester, De Montfort University and Loughborough University and the wider local entrepreneurial community in Leicester and Leicestershire to help turn academic ideas into commercial reality through university spin-outs and business partnerships.
This collaboration provides opportunities for academics to start their own business or work alongside established business owners, with access to resources and funding.
This event is part of Business Finance Week, hosted by British Business Bank.
