Throughout the class, you’ll chop, season, simmer, and sauté your way through techniques that build depth—layering aromatics, developing rich sauces, and mastering tender braises—while creating three boldly seasoned, crowd-pleasing favorites. After cooking, sit down to enjoy your rustic feast paired with a glass of wine. Perfect for cooks who crave big flavors and hearty, soul-satisfying dishes, this class blends approachable instruction with an inviting, convivial dining and cooking experience.

On the menu:

Pennsylvania Dutch Chicken and Dumplings – Practice classic stew-making fundamentals as you build a velvety, slow-simmered broth and hand-shape pillowy dumplings.

Lamb Lover’s Shepherd’s Pie – Learn proper browning, seasoning, and mash-making to create a deeply savory lamb and vegetable filling crowned with golden, buttery potatoes.

Cajun Shrimp and Sausage Alfredo Pasta – Explore Cajun spice profiles and cream-sauce technique while crafting a vibrant, smoky take on a Southern favorite.

What to Expect:
This is a fully interactive cooking experience. Participants will cook, taste, and plate their creations alongside Chef Po. Classes are limited to 16 students to maintain a hands-on, intimate environment. You’ll be standing and cooking for most of the session, so please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and long pants, and tie back long hair. Aprons are provided.

Age Requirement: Open to ages 15 and up.
