Comedy of Errors By William Shakespeare- At Rock County Historical Society
The Janesville Performing Arts Center is proud to produce our annual Outdoor Shakespeare production: The Comedy of Errors by William Shakespeare. This play is one of William Shakespeare's earliest, shortest as most farcical comedies.
It is hosted by our friends and partners at the Rock County Historical Society (Tallman House).
Directed by Rock County Arts Hall of Fame Recipient Greg Wallendal
This playful, high-energy take on The Comedy of Errors, set in a post-1900 world bursting with style. Inspired by Commedia dell'Arte, actors ditch the masks for bold physical comedy, vivid archetypes, and rapid-fire timing, turning Shakespeare's wild mix-ups into a vibrant, fast-paced romp of chaos and mistaken identity.
Performance is Pay-What-You-Can with a suggested ticket price of $20.
There is an option to add-on a Charcuterie Box for $15. This will feed 1-2 people and is prepared by JPAC Events. If you decide after purchasing your tickets that you would like to add this option on, please call the box office at 608-758-0297, option 1 and someone will help you with this.
Box office hours are: Wednesday-Friday from 12pm-3pm.
NOTE: All beverages must be purchased on location from the Rock County Historical Society. Carry-ins are not allowed for this event.
