Very excited to be bringing comedy to Mission West, hosted by Michael Booth, this lineup features comedians Ashwin Bala, Megan Kellie, and headliner Jeremy Talamantes.
Ashwin Bala is a comedian based in the Bay Area, known for his dark, often inappropriate sense of humor, its balance our by his silly observations on stage, he performs all over the Bay Area and runs his own shows under the 'Spice Trade Comedy' banner with fellow comedian Nathan Young.
Megan Kellie has been a bright light in the Santa Cruz community over the last year since she joined the scene, a California transplant with experience in improv and public speaking, she brings a unique perspective to the stage and laughter out of the mundane, she also hosts the weekly ‘Bucket List’ comedy show at Rosie McCann’s every Monday at 9pm. A show where the audience writes topics for the comics and their job is to riff on whatever they pull out of the bucket to try and make you laugh.
Jeremy Eduardo Talamantes is an L.A based comedian born and raised in the Bay Area. The day this goofy dude dropped out of community college he solemnly swore to make people laugh for the rest of his life. Half Mexican, half White and funny through and through he has traveled most of the United States of America to uphold his solemn oath. Not to compare him to Stan Lee or anything, but he writes AND draws comic books, working on Tales of the MUSCLE C.O.R.E with his brother and contributing cartoons to the widely popular underground comix anthology SCARFFF. Not only that he is the co-producer of THE ART CRITIQUE COMEDY SHOW, where comedians discuss and make fun of thrift-store paintings.
