Following the smashing success of November’s Mystery at Peace Hall and the Halloween hilarity of the Hahahalloween Showcase, we’re excited to announce the next chapter in our celebrated Improv Basics series: Fairy Tales Gone Local - Out of the Woods in Pasco County!
This discovery workshop invites aspiring performers and creative souls of all levels—especially beginners—to join us in creating a one-of-a-kind show that blends classic fairy tales with the unique spirit of New Port Richey. Whether you’ve been part of our past adventures or you’re brand new to the stage, this is your chance to shine.

What Makes This Production Special?
As part of our Improv Basics program, Fairy Tales Gone Local is designed to teach, inspire, and entertain. We’ve created a supportive space where performers of all experience levels (especially beginners!) can grow their skills, build confidence, and have a blast.
This time, we’re turning New Port Richey into a fairy tale kingdom filled with swamp magic, quirky characters, and plenty of laughter.
Past participants know this isn’t just a performance—it’s an experience! Our workshops and rehearsals will teach you everything you need to know, from improv basics to audience interaction, all while having fun and making new friends.

No experience needed! We’ll guide you through fun activities like character improv and storytelling games.
Bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to try new things—we’ll take care of the rest.
You’ll have a chance to explore and develop your creativity in a welcoming space.
How Roles Are Cast
During the workshop, we’ll explore character dynamics and ensemble storytelling, giving you the opportunity to naturally discover the roles that suit you best. Our creative team will guide you every step of the way and cast roles based on your unique strengths and interests.
Rehearsal and Performance Schedule
After casting, you’ll have the holidays to reflect on your character and get excited for what’s ahead. Rehearsals are designed to teach you everything you need to know, step by step:
Week 1: January 7, 2025 (Tuesday 5:30-8:30 PM)
Week 2: January 14, 2025 (Tuesday 5:30-8:30 PM)
