� Volunteers Wanted – Charity Climb Up Ben Nevis! �
Right folks, I need your help.
On the last Saturday in June 2026, myself and the mighty Stevie Mitchell are taking on Ben Nevis – not for glory (or because we’ve suddenly become fitness influencers), but for something far more important.
A close family member of mine has just been diagnosed with leukaemia, and my eldest daughter has already fought and beaten thyroid cancer – thanks in no small part to the amazing work done by Marie Curie. So we’re doing this to raise as much money as possible for them, and to show a bit of love and fight back.
Now let’s be honest… comedians are not exactly built for endurance. We’re more pie-and-a-pint than peak performance. And I am definitely, definitely in that category.
So this challenge is also my way to get healthier, stay motivated, and do something that actually matters.
� Want to join us on the climb?
We’re looking for volunteers – comedians, friends, family, or anyone daft and kind enough to take on a mountain for a good cause. You don’t need to be fit right now – we’ve got just under 8 months to get ready together.
� When: Last Saturday of June 2026
� Where: Ben Nevis
� Why: To raise money for Marie Curie and support families facing cancer
� Who: Me, Stevie Mitchell, and hopefully you
