Colour Procession at Mela Carnival

The Belfast Mela is back with a week long programme of events from the 17 - 25 August including the spectacular festival finale at Botanic Gardens on 25 August.

This year, we are inviting you to join us for our very first Mela Carnival on 17 August transforming the streets of the city centre into a wonderland of culture and creativity. Be part of our colour procession and walk the route with us while throwing colourful powders in a party atmosphere among friends!

How does it work?

• Register your place in the colour procession on Eventbrite
• Come along on the day, dressed in white, and receive your free colours. The meet point is at Writers Square in the Cathedral Quarter
• Join hundreds of others on the day to create vivid frenzy of colour during the procession
