The workshop will be designed to benefit both beginners and advanced artists as they look at the landscape through a different lens.
Learn to abstract and simplify what we view around us. Depth and space will be created using only flat shapes and a limited palette. The instructor will lead a discussion on abstract vs. nonobjective art and offer morning exercises using photo references to start the process.
There will also be instructions on color mixing and how non-traditional color can be a tool for abstracting the landscape.
