About Marilyn Keating:
Marilyn Keating received her BFA in sculpture from Moore College of Art in Philadelphia, PA. In recent years, she has concentrated much of her energy on public art, outdoor art, and community projects. She works as a Teaching Artist for the State of New Jersey.
Marilyn has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions and has work in many public and private collections. She has also won numerous awards, including a 2025 fellowship, her fourth, from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts. Other awards include a George and Helen Segal Foundation Award for New Jersey sculptors; a Distinguished Service Award for leadership in arts education in New Jersey; a Puffin Foundation Grant (for the creation of a graphic novel with at-risk students in Gloucester City, NJ); and a Distinguished Alumnae award from Moore College of Art in Philadelphia, PA.
Marilyn has also worked in partnership with Debra Sachs on public art and studio projects at The South Jersey Museum of Curiosities.
