Collegiate Shag dance classes in June

Block of 4 Collegiate Shag classes suitable for beginners
Adam & Rebecca and Ruth & Murray will teach four classes of Collegiate Shag, a partnered Swing dance suited for faster music.
The classes are suitable for dancers with little or no Collegiate Shag dance experience and those wanting to recap fundamental Shag dance techniques. If you came to the May block of Collegiate Shag, we would still love to see you there as we will be covering different content.
A class is 60 minutes followed by 60 minutes of practice time / social dancing. You do not need a dance partner to register for the classes. We generally rotate dance partners to help learn the techniques of following and leading.
You can BUY TICKETS FOR 3 OR 4 CLASSES of a class block for either the dance role of Follower or Leader. Please feel free to choose your dance role according to your personal preference, regardless of gender.
You're entitled to buy classes at the CONCESSION RATE if you're on low income or have an Edinbop 2026 membership. You can buy an annual membership here on DanceCloud.
