College Ready AF: College Prep Kickoff for Students & Families

Join RISE Chattanooga for College Ready AF (Acceptance & Funding), a supportive workshop and counseling series designed to help high school students and their families successfully navigate the path from high school to college.

The college process can feel overwhelming—from applications and essays to financial aid and interviews. College Ready AF provides practical, hands-on guidance to help students move through the process with confidence. Participants will receive support with FAFSA and financial aid applications, college selection, essay writing, interview preparation, and essential time management skills.

Led by college access professional Rebecca Suttles, who brings more than 20 years of experience in scholarship administration and college advising, the program also features a team of advisors dedicated to helping students prepare for their academic and career futures.

This program is designed to supplement—not replace—the work of high school counselors and College and Career Advisors, providing additional support outside of the traditional school day in a welcoming community setting.

Students and families are invited to attend our Kickoff & Information Session to meet the team and learn more about the program.
