Collage self-portraits workshop

Visually informed by Claude Cahun and Marcel Moore’s Surrealist photomontages featured in the exhibition Studies for a Keepsake, participants are invited to render a self-portrait, or image of your own choosing. Exploring forms of selfhood and expression, this workshop encourages processes of slow making, allowing you to work at your own pace with a considered selection of found imagery. All materials will be provided, though you are welcome to bring along your own printed materials for your collage if you wish.

While this event is suitable for all ages, participants aged under age 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
