Collaborating for Success in AI Health Research
About this Event
Improving health with AI requires collaboration across disciplines and organisations, drawing on expertise in healthcare, computer science, engineering, data science, social science, and innovation. This workshop aims to bring together a diverse group of stakeholders for an engaging conversation exploring how to enable collaborative AI in health research.
The programme will feature short presentations exploring the application of AI for dementia and IVF, alongside talks on Pacific Data Sovereignty and the tensions that can arise between conventional research approaches and Māori values and preferences. A presentation followed by a panel discussion with University leaders will explore the current funding environment and how we can enable research.
Refreshments will be served after the session, offering an opportunity to connect with others and share ideas.
