Cold War Commander Weekend Game

Chris H and John G will be running a two-day multi-player game set in 1980s West Germany using 10mm miniatures and Cold War Commander rules on weekend 31 Oct/1 Nov 2026. The game will enable 6 to 8 players per side, with each player commanding a battlegroup or more. The scenario will be a Soviet attack along the valleys towards Alfeld and the River Leine, to link up with their airborne comrades. British forces have a blocking force and a counterattack force.
Due to the size of the game we have booked The Cavalier which has also agreed to provide breakfast baps, lunch basket meals and tea/coffee at reasonable rates. Green fees for the weekend will depend on overall number of players but should be around £7 to £10.
We are looking for 12 to 16 players for this game and ask those who are interested in participating to let us know as soon as possible, and if they have a preference for Soviet or NATO.
