Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Suicide Prevention (CBT-SP)

Welcome to the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Suicide Prevention (CBT-SP) event. Join us at Berkshire Innovation Center on April 10, 2026. Registration opens at 8:00 a.m. Program begins at 8:30 a.m.

This program will offer 4 hours of Continuing Education (CE) / Continuing Medical Education (CMEs). CE for Social Work, LMHC, LMFT, Psychology, Nursing and CMEs for MDs & DOs.

Clinicians who have previously completed training in CBT-SP, or who have knowledge of this model of treatment are invited to register for this more advanced workshop. This training will increase knowledge of and facility with the early phase of an evidence-based model for treating suicidal thoughts and behaviors. Clinicians will continue developing skills to more effectively work with patients with suicidal thoughts and behaviors.

This training is provided with support from the Mass Department of Public Health Suicide Prevention Division, Berkshire Medical Center Dept of Psychiatry, Berkshire Health Systems and the Berkshire Coaltion for Suicide Prevention.
