Love coffee? Need a creative outlet? This beginner-friendly pottery class combines the joy of coffee tasting with a relaxing, hands-on creative workshop. Sip on a curated selection of coffee blends from Sweetwater as you dive into a guided pottery-making experience—no prior experience needed.
Led by an expert Pottery with a Purpose host, you’ll learn foundational hand-building pottery techniques, from shaping and smoothing to decorating your clay creation with texture and personal flair. Whether you're sculpting a small dish, bowl, or abstract decor, you’ll leave with a one-of-a-kind piece that reflects your unique style.

Your ticket includes:
- Coffee Tasting: Kick things off with a 20-minute coffee tasting featuring 3-4 blends.
- Your First Drink: Sip on a freshly made beverage to fuel your creativity during the workshop.
- Hands-On Instruction: A relaxed, hands-on pottery workshop guided by an experienced host.
- Pottery 101: Learn foundational hand-building techniques like pinch pots and coils, then turn them into functional pottery with pieces like mugs, bowls, vases, or planters. We’ll also show you how to add fun touches like handles or texture.
- All Supplies Provided: We bring the clay, tools, and materials — you just bring yourself.
- Beginner-Friendly Vibes: Laid-back, no-pressure energy perfect for first-timers, solo guests, and friend groups alike.
Note: After this workshop, you can air-dry your pottery. After a few days, your pottery will be ready to paint! Glazing + Firing (what makes your pottery waterproof and food-safe) is not available at this workshop.
