The Hannibal Arts Council is proud to announce the June edition of its popular Coffee Talk Conversation Series. The program will feature a presentation from the Ilasco Area Historical Preservation Society. The Coffee Talk will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 28 at the Hannibal Arts Council, 105 S. Main St. The program is FREE and open to the public. Wade Stables P.C. is the proud signature sponsor of this event.
The Ilasco Area Historical Preservation Society was established as a Missouri non-profit organization in December 2000. The group was established to ensure the care and maintenance of the Ilasco Village Memorial Monuments. The IAHPS also aims to document and preserve the astounding history of the Ilasco area, including its people, institutions and culture.
The Coffee Talk Conversation Series is designed to be relaxed, informal and informative. Through the Coffee Talk Conversation Series, the Hannibal Arts Council will present community members speaking on various topics, including travel, history, health, food, well-being and yes, art. The series is designed on the premise that everyone has a story and a wide variety of interests and are sometimes willing to share that with an audience.
