About this Event

Welcome Nomados to our new venue, Kafka's coffee. The concept behind this group exhibition "Midsummer Hustle" is an attempt to create a foil to the idea of summer presented in the previous exhibition "Midsummer Holiday" curated by Tami Han, where summer was associated more with joy and delight. In contrast, because Nomado Art House would be holding this exhibition during the summer - likely at the hottest time of the year - we wanted to emphasize that the summer portrayed in the previous show was imagined and dreamlike. On the other hand, this exhibition, by contrast, reflects the reality of summer as we experience it today: dangerous heat waves, blinding and beaming light.
