Three mentoring programs in the Nordic region (FIKA, SAJO and KVINFO's mentor network) invite you to attend our hybrid conference at Luckan! The aim of the conference is to bring together actors from civil society organisations and the public and private sectors, to discuss how cross-sectoral collaboration can strengthen the labour market integration of migrants – particularly women from so-called ‘non-Western’ countries – in the Nordic region.
The conference, will be held simultaneously at three different locations –Copenhagen, Oslo and Helsinki – as well as online.
Program (Finnish time):
11.00-11.15: Welcome
11.15-12.30: Keynote, Helle Hygum Espersen, chief research analyst at VIVE - The Danish Center for Social Science Research, on: ‘Cross-sector collaboration and volunteering I the Nordic countries. Potentials and pitfalls.’
12.30-13.30: ‘Employment Mentoring for Women Migrants’: Presentation of the new report on our three Nordic mentoring programs (Cheralyn Mealor, research analyst at KVINFO)
13.30-14.00: Lunch (included)

The conference is held in connection with a project funded by the Nordic Council, which involves the exchange of knowledge and experience between three mentoring programs for migrants – KVINFO’s mentornetværk (Denmark), Sammen om en jobb (Norway) and FIKA, Luckan Integration (Finland).
