Join us for a clothing swap with The Collective Coalition featuring a mending booth by Sustaina-Beryl and linocut prints by Shirt Rights!About this Event
What is a clothing swap? A clothing swap is a community gathering with the purpose of providing a low-cost, eco-friendly way for folks to update their wardrobes. We are a limited space, so please bring a manageable amount of clothing with you (1 or 2 paper bags is great, a full garbage bag will be too much). All gender expressions and sizes of clothing are welcome, this event will be open to all ages, so kids' clothing is also accepted. You do not need to bring anything to participate!
Time slots for tickets- This event has staggered entry time slots, to ensure that everyone in attendance can have a great experience. Our space is limited, and too many folks all at once will get very crowded. We want to be respectful of the vendors and venue host, and not overwhelm anyone. There are time slots available at 4pm, 5pm, and 6pm. The event ends at 7pm, and the last entries admitted will be at 6pm. Last call for mending services will be at 6:30pm. While entries are staggered, there is no time limit for folks in attendance. You are able to swap and shop at your leisure.
Sapphic definition: “sapphic” refers to anyone who is not a cis man experiencing attraction to anyone else that is not a cis man. Not interchangeable with lesbian, this applies to more folks.
Sober Space Clarification: You do not have to be sober or in recovery yourself to join! Sober spaces are for everyone and help create options. Please respect the space for those who want a substance free experience!
