Clothing Repurposing Workshop
Attendance is free, though a $10 donation to TACA is appreciated to help support community programming and events.
Not interested in the workshop? No problem! You’re still very welcome to come craft, connect, and enjoy the Crafting Day as usual. 🎨💬 https://www.facebook.com/share/1EraNSxaCs/
Facilitated by your Trend-Arlington neighbour, Patricia Grassals, this workshop will help you see your clothing through a new lens and uncover possibilities you may not have considered before. 👗➡️👜
⚠️ This is not a sewing class.
The focus is on using the skills you already have—whether that’s simple stitching, cutting, tying, or styling—to transform what you already own in intuitive and practical ways.
✨ You’ll learn:
• Foundational concepts of clothing repurposing and textile reuse
• How to identify all the elements within a garment that can be repurposed (fabric, buttons, zippers, trims, etc.)
• Creative and practical ways to transform garments into refreshed clothing, accessories, or home items
Come discover new possibilities from materials you already own—and connect with TACA’s crafting community in whatever way suits you. 💛
