Get ready to fix your favourite clothes and learn some useful alteration hacks in this laid-back workshop. Beginners welcome!
About this Event

Learn the practical sewing skills that can help you extend the life of your wardrobe and achieve a better fit for your clothing. This hands-on workshop is perfect for beginners or anyone looking to build confidence with basic clothing alterations.

Participants will learn essential techniques, including:

  • Hemming pants, skirts, and dresses
  • Shortening sleeves
  • Taking in simple seams for a better fit
  • Repairing loose hems and minor garment damage
  • Using basic sewing tools and techniques, by hand and with a sewing machine

By the end of the workshop, you’ll have the skills to tackle common alterations at home, saving money while reducing clothing waste. Bring one or two garments you’d like to alter, and you’ll receive guidance as you practice each technique.

All supplies included plus we'll have extra fabric/clothing swatches if you would prefer to practice on a sample first.
