About this Event
As part of 🌾 August at Lighthouse Hub - A Month of Gratitude & Conscious Living, we're inviting you to spend a meaningful day, meeting like-minded people while caring about nature.
Inspired by Lúnasa (Lughnasadh) - the ancient Celtic harvest festival - this event is a reminder that caring for the Earth begins with small acts of kindness. Every harvest starts with care, and together we can make a difference.
Join us for a cozy morning of swapping, chatting, and connecting with the community.
On Saturday, 22 August, from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM, we're transforming Boland's Mills into a welcoming space where good-quality items find new homes, new friendships begin, and sustainability meets community.
Instead of buying something new, bring along items you no longer use but someone else might love. You'll be surprised what treasures you can discover while giving your own belongings a second life.
What can you bring?
Please bring clean, gently used items in excellent condition, including:
👕 Clothes
👠 Shoes
👜 Bags & accessories
💄 Cosmetics (new or lightly used where appropriate and hygienic)
📚 Books
We kindly ask that you only bring items that are in a condition you would happily gift to a friend.
What to expect

We'll have tea and coffee ready for everyone.
We'd love it if you could bring something small to share for the table, just as if you were coming over to friends for tea. Homemade or shop-bought—cookies, cake, fruit, pastries, snacks, or anything you'd enjoy sharing. Together we'll create a warm, welcoming community table for everyone to enjoy.
