Clothes Swap

Across the weekend of 16, 17, 18 and 19 July, guests are invited to give their wardrobe a new lease of life by swapping items they no longer need. Alongside the clothes swap, there will be a free mending workshop where you can repair any clothes that need a little spruce up. There will also be bedazzling and embroidered patch workshops.

• Bring along a couple of clothing items you no longer want.
• Please make sure all items are clean and undamaged.
• Bring them to us and a member of our team will check them before accepting them.
• Once your items have been accepted, you will receive one token per item.
• You can then go “shopping” and choose any pieces you like — one item per token.
• Show a team member the items you are taking and they will collect one token for each piece.
• If you do not find anything you like straight away, you can keep your tokens and come back later during the weekend, as stock will be changing constantly.

• We only accept clothing from smoke-free and pet-free homes.
• No Shein or Primark clothing.
• No promotional clothing.
• We tend to receive more women’s adult clothing than men’s and kids' clothing, so please bear this in mind before making the journey.
• No shoes, underwear or swimwear.
• Please only bring what you'd like to receive.

Please note, access to the swap is via stairs only!

This event takes place in the basement of the SoLo Craft fair shop which sells on behalf of 100 different makers and designers. Please feel free to browse the shop before or after you join the clothes swap!
