Meditation for Busy Parents
About this Event
Take a gentle pause in your week with our new Meditation for Relaxation class, specially supportive for parents of young children and mothers-to-be. Each session offers a simple, guided breathing meditation to help you unwind, reduce stress, and reconnect with a sense of inner calm. The class includes a short, peaceful prayer, called The Liberating Prayer, to deepen the experience of relaxation and mental clarity.
After the meditation, there is time to enjoy refreshments and connect with others in a friendly, supportive environment. These classes are open to everyone, and are specially suited to those navigating pregnancy, early motherhood, or caring for young children—offering both practical relaxation and a space to share experiences. Classes are guided by Noha, who is a resident of Heruka KMC and currently training on our Foundation Programme.
The Teacher, Noha Shahin, is a resident of Heruka KMC and is the mother of a young toddler. Noha is a gentle, kind and joyful teacher. From her experience of studying and practising on the Foundation Programme of Heruka KMC she guides meditations skillfully and peacefullly enabling everyone to unwind and relax.
