Sunday 25 January marks the final day of my solo exhibition “Torn Textures & Hybrid Glyphs: VISPO, Altered Texts & Altered Realities” at Art Space Ballarat — and I’d love to close it by sharing something special with you.Throughout the exhibition, I’ve been sculpting a brand new virtual artwork live in the gallery. Some of you have dropped in while it was still forming, fragment by fragment — and on Sunday 25th Jan, I’ll be unveiling the completed work for the first time.
The closing event will be a relaxed afternoon gathering: a chance to see the finished sculpture revealed, reflect on the exhibition as a whole, and spend some time together in the space one last time. It’s been a deeply immersive, process-driven show, and it feels important to end it in conversation, curiosity, and community.
If you’ve already visited, this is a chance to see how the work has evolved. If you haven’t made it in yet, it will be your last opportunity to experience the exhibition in person before it closes. Come and have a drink & celebrate with us!
