English Clog Dance Class!
Greenfield Guiding Star Grange
Monday 29 Sept (until Mon 15 Dec).
7pm - 8:15pm
Combo class: beginners and advanced classes together. We'll learn new dances at beginners pace while more experienced dancers refresh and recap downstairs, then I'll teach more advanced steps at a faster pace while beginners practise their steps together, and we'll also learn some choreography that includes everyone, and works to everyone's ability (so you can avoid steps that damage your knees, for example)!
I'm also on the lookout for a musician!
Eventually I'd like it to run more like a team, and have other people teach, but at this point while we're learning common dances and getting a cohesive style it's reliant on me always being there, so I would like to cover the hall plus have a bit towards my effort, if that's ok.
Suggested costs are:
Single class: $20
Whole Term: Sliding scale $70 (hall only) - $100 (some tuition) - $200 (includes tuition).
I know finances are really crazy at the moment for many people, so please come even if you can't pay, or pay what you can and know that that's ok because I really want to clog dance with you all!
I'll have clogs to borrow again.
